Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seeded
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 4 to 5 fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove any seeds.
- Place the watermelon, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, mint leaves, and water into a blender.
- Blend until the mixture becomes completely smooth.
- If desired, strain the mixture to remove excess pulp for a smoother texture.
- Pour the watermelon mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top.
- Insert popsicle sticks into the molds.
- Freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours or until fully solid.
- To release the popsicles easily, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds.
- Serve immediately while frozen and refreshing.
Notes
- Honey or maple syrup can be omitted if the watermelon is naturally sweet.
- Strawberries, raspberries, or pineapple make delicious flavor additions.
- Coconut milk or Greek yogurt creates a creamier popsicle texture.
- Frozen watermelon can be used after slightly thawing before blending.
- Store popsicles in an airtight freezer-safe container for up to 2 weeks.
