Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
- 3 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Instructions
- Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes and slice the peaches into thin wedges.
- Place the watermelon and peaches in a large serving bowl.
- Drizzle the lime juice over the fruit and add honey if desired.
- Gently toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the chopped mint leaves over the salad.
- Add crumbled feta cheese if using.
- Season lightly with salt to taste.
- Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving.
Notes
- For best texture and flavor, serve the salad fresh.
- Ripe but firm peaches work best and hold their shape well.
- Fresh basil can be used instead of mint for a different flavor profile.
- Add blueberries, strawberries, or cucumber for variation.
- Toasted almonds, pecans, or pistachios add extra crunch.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Freezing is not recommended as the fruit texture will change after thawing.
