Ingredients
- 3 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 3 cups water (divided)
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar or honey (to taste)
- 1–2 cups ice cubes
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
- Mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
- Blend the sliced peaches with 1 cup of water until smooth.
- Strain the peach puree if a smoother texture is desired, or leave it pulpy.
- In a pitcher, combine the peach puree, fresh lemon juice, and remaining 2 cups of water.
- Add sugar or honey and stir until fully dissolved.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sweetener or lemon juice as needed.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves.
Notes
- Use fresh peaches for the best flavor, but frozen (thawed) can also work.
- Add sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy version.
- Cook peaches with sugar to create a syrup for a deeper flavor.
- Add berries like strawberries or raspberries for variation.
- Stir before serving as ingredients may settle.
