Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast without slicing all the way through.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted, then remove from heat.
- Mix the spinach with cream cheese, parmesan, and mozzarella until combined.
- Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach mixture and secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Sear the stuffed chicken in a skillet for a few minutes on each side until golden.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked.
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Do not overfill the chicken to prevent leakage.
- Secure with toothpicks for easier handling.
- Use thawed and well-drained frozen spinach if needed.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Check internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
