Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast without slicing all the way through.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add spinach and cook until wilted, then remove from heat.
  5. Mix the spinach with cream cheese, parmesan, and mozzarella until combined.
  6. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
  7. Stuff each chicken breast with the spinach mixture and secure with toothpicks if needed.
  8. Sear the stuffed chicken in a skillet for a few minutes on each side until golden.
  9. Transfer to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked.
  10. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the chicken to prevent leakage.
  • Secure with toothpicks for easier handling.
  • Use thawed and well-drained frozen spinach if needed.
  • Add sun-dried tomatoes or mushrooms for extra flavor.
  • Check internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
