Ingredients

  • 1 cup pineapple (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric (ground or 1 tsp fresh grated)
  • 1/2 tsp ginger (optional, grated or ground)
  • 12 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • A pinch of black pepper (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add pineapple and frozen banana to a blender.
  2. Add protein powder, yogurt, milk, turmeric, ginger, honey or maple syrup, and a pinch of black pepper.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. If too thick, add more milk and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Add spinach for extra nutrients without affecting flavor much.
  • Use coconut milk for a creamier texture.
  • Add chia seeds or flaxseeds for fiber and texture.
  • Black pepper helps enhance turmeric absorption.
  • Best consumed fresh but can be stored up to 24 hours refrigerated.
