Ingredients
- 1 package ladyfinger cookies
- 1 1/2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup berry juice or berry syrup
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Wash and prepare the mixed berries, slicing larger strawberries if needed.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
- In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the berry juice and lemon juice.
- Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the berry mixture and arrange a layer in the bottom of a serving dish.
- Spread a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the cream.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone cream and berries on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the layers to set.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and extra berries before serving.
Notes
- Fresh berries provide the best texture and flavor, but thawed frozen berries can also be used.
- Chilling overnight gives the tiramisu the best texture and flavor.
- Add lemon zest for a brighter citrus flavor.
- White chocolate shavings make a delicious garnish.
- Berry liqueur can be added for extra depth of flavor.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This dessert is best served chilled and should not be frozen.
