Ingredients

  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 1/2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup berry juice or berry syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare the mixed berries, slicing larger strawberries if needed.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
  5. In a shallow bowl, combine the berry juice and lemon juice.
  6. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the berry mixture and arrange a layer in the bottom of a serving dish.
  7. Spread a layer of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.
  8. Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the cream.
  9. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone cream and berries on top.
  10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the layers to set.
  11. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and extra berries before serving.

Notes

  • Fresh berries provide the best texture and flavor, but thawed frozen berries can also be used.
  • Chilling overnight gives the tiramisu the best texture and flavor.
  • Add lemon zest for a brighter citrus flavor.
  • White chocolate shavings make a delicious garnish.
  • Berry liqueur can be added for extra depth of flavor.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • This dessert is best served chilled and should not be frozen.
