Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries)
  • 1 banana, divided
  • 1 cup yogurt or milk
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the strawberry layer by combining strawberries, half of the banana, half of the yogurt or milk, and sweetener if desired until smooth.
  2. Pour the strawberry mixture into a glass and set aside.
  3. Rinse the blender.
  4. Blend the mixed berry layer using mixed berries, the remaining banana, remaining yogurt or milk, and sweetener if desired until smooth.
  5. Carefully pour the second layer over the first, using the back of a spoon to create a layered effect.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Pour the second layer slowly to keep layers distinct.
  • Use frozen fruit for a thicker texture.
  • Skip sweetener if fruits are naturally sweet.
  • Substitute with plant-based milk or yogurt for a dairy-free option.
  • Add spinach or protein powder for extra nutrition.
  • Top with granola, seeds, or fresh fruit if desired.
