Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated sugar cookie dough (1618 ounces)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup raspberries (optional)
  • 1 banana, sliced (optional, for white stripes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Press the sugar cookie dough evenly into a lightly greased rectangular baking pan.
  3. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges.
  4. Allow the cookie crust to cool completely.
  5. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
  6. Mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until the frosting is light and fluffy.
  7. Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  8. Arrange the blueberries in the upper-left corner to create the stars section of the flag.
  9. Place rows of sliced strawberries across the pizza to form the red stripes.
  10. Leave strips of frosting exposed between the strawberries or use banana slices to create the white stripes.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Dry all fruit thoroughly before decorating to prevent excess moisture.
  • Homemade sugar cookie dough can be used instead of refrigerated dough.
  • Add lemon zest to the frosting for a fresh citrus flavor.
  • Whipped topping can replace part of the cream cheese for a lighter texture.
  • Best served within 1–2 days for optimal freshness.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Not recommended for freezing after assembly.
