Ingredients
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Add water, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper to a small saucepan.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the mixture forms a thick paste.
- Simmer gently for 3–5 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Transfer to a jar and refrigerate.
- To serve, stir 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of concentrate into warm milk and sweeten if desired.
Notes
- Add vanilla extract or nutmeg for extra flavor.
- Sweeten with honey or maple syrup when serving.
- Use coconut milk for a richer drink.
- Adjust spice levels to taste.
- Shake or stir before use if separation occurs.
