Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 ball (200 g) burrata cheese
  • 3 cups mixed greens or arugula
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 12 tbsp balsamic glaze or balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Optional:
  • 1/4 cup toasted nuts (almonds or pistachios)

Instructions

  1. Arrange mixed greens or arugula evenly on a serving plate.
  2. Scatter sliced strawberries over the greens.
  3. Place the burrata in the center or tear it into pieces and distribute over the salad.
  4. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze evenly over the salad.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Top with fresh basil leaves.
  7. Sprinkle toasted nuts if using, then serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use mozzarella as a substitute if burrata is unavailable.
  • Arugula adds a peppery flavor, but any greens work well.
  • Add lemon juice for extra brightness.
  • Include seeds or croutons for added crunch.
  • Assemble just before serving for best freshness.
