Ingredients

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • Optional: 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1/3 cup chopped strawberries
  • Optional glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 1–2 tbsp milk, 1/4 tsp strawberry extract or a splash of strawberry juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the strawberry cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil until a thick batter forms.
  3. Fold in white chocolate chips or chopped strawberries, if using.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center looks done. A toothpick should come out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. Let brownies cool completely in the pan.
  7. If using glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and strawberry extract or juice. Drizzle over the cooled brownies.
  8. Slice into 9–12 squares and serve.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake—the brownies will continue to set as they cool.
  • Use a 9×9 pan for thinner brownies or 8×8 for thicker ones.
  • Try swirling strawberry jam into the batter before baking for extra flavor.
  • Top with melted chocolate for a chocolate-covered strawberry vibe.
