Ingredients
- 1 batch of brownies (homemade or boxed), baked and cooled
- 1 cup white chocolate chips or white candy melts
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
- Candy eyes
Instructions
- Bake a batch of brownies in an 8×8 or 9×9-inch square pan. Let cool completely.
- Cut the brownies into 12–16 rectangles or squares, depending on preferred size.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips with oil (if using) in 20–30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Transfer melted chocolate to a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.
- Drizzle the chocolate over each brownie in crisscrossing lines to resemble mummy bandages.
- Before the chocolate sets, gently press two candy eyes onto each brownie.
- Let the chocolate harden at room temperature or in the fridge before serving.
Notes
- Use cream cheese frosting for a softer, sweeter “bandage” look.
- Add Halloween sprinkles before the chocolate sets for extra flair.
- Store-bought brownies work great in a pinch — just decorate and go.
- For a gluten-free version, use your favorite gluten-free brownie base.
- Don’t refrigerate too long — just until the chocolate sets.
