Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
  • Mini chocolate chips or melted dark chocolate (for decorating ghost faces)

Instructions

  1. Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they become fine crumbs.
  2. Add softened cream cheese and blend until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Shape the mixture into ghost shapes — tapered at the top, wider at the base — and place on a parchment‑lined tray.
  4. Chill the shaped truffles in the fridge or freezer for at least 30 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt white chocolate or candy melts until smooth.
  6. Dip each ghost truffle into the white chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
  7. Place on the tray and immediately press mini chocolate chips into the coating to make ghost faces (eyes and mouth).
  8. Allow truffles to set completely before serving.

Notes

  • Use golden Oreos for a vanilla version or add peppermint extract for a holiday twist.
  • If you don’t have mini chips, use a toothpick and melted chocolate to draw ghost faces.
  • Kids love helping shape and decorate these spooky treats.
  • Best served chilled or at room temperature — no reheating needed.
