Ingredients
- 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz white chocolate chips or white candy melts
- Mini chocolate chips or melted dark chocolate (for decorating ghost faces)
Instructions
- Pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they become fine crumbs.
- Add softened cream cheese and blend until a sticky dough forms.
- Shape the mixture into ghost shapes — tapered at the top, wider at the base — and place on a parchment‑lined tray.
- Chill the shaped truffles in the fridge or freezer for at least 30 minutes until firm.
- Melt white chocolate or candy melts until smooth.
- Dip each ghost truffle into the white chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
- Place on the tray and immediately press mini chocolate chips into the coating to make ghost faces (eyes and mouth).
- Allow truffles to set completely before serving.
Notes
- Use golden Oreos for a vanilla version or add peppermint extract for a holiday twist.
- If you don’t have mini chips, use a toothpick and melted chocolate to draw ghost faces.
- Kids love helping shape and decorate these spooky treats.
- Best served chilled or at room temperature — no reheating needed.
