Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Add the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt to a mixing bowl.
  2. Stir until a soft dough forms, then lightly knead until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  4. Flatten each ball into an oval or round shape using your hands or a rolling pin.
  5. Heat a dry skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook each naan for 1–2 minutes per side, until bubbles form and golden spots appear.
  7. Remove from the skillet and keep warm while cooking the remaining naan.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Add a little extra flour if the dough is too sticky.
  • Brush with butter or olive oil after cooking for extra flavor.
  • Garlic naan can be made by brushing with melted butter and minced garlic.
  • Do not overcook, or the naan may become dry.
