Ingredients

For the Garlic Butter:

¼ cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

For the Sandwich:

4 slices of bread (your favorite type)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

¼ cup pizza sauce

1012 slices of pepperoni

1 tablespoon olive oil (for grilling)

Instructions

Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined and set aside.

Assemble the sandwich: Spread a generous amount of garlic butter on one side of each slice of bread. On the other side, spread a thin layer of pizza sauce. Layer mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on one slice of bread, then top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.

Grill the sandwich: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Once the pan is hot, place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, pressing down lightly with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted inside.

Serve: Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately. Enjoy with extra pizza sauce for dipping!

Notes

Vegetarian option: Skip the pepperoni and add your favorite pizza veggies, like bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives.

Different cheeses: Mix in provolone, cheddar, or parmesan with the mozzarella for extra flavor.

Spicy version: Add crushed red pepper flakes to the garlic butter or top the sandwich with jalapeños for a kick.
