Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix (or your favorite homemade brownie batter)
- Eggs (as per box or recipe instructions)
- Oil or melted butter (as per instructions)
- Water (if using a mix)
- Candy eyeballs
- Halloween-colored sprinkles
- Colored frosting or candy melts (purple, green, orange, etc.)
- Optional toppings: mini M&Ms, crushed cookies, gummy worms, chopped nuts, pretzels
Instructions
- Preheat oven according to brownie mix or homemade recipe instructions. Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch pan with parchment or spray with nonstick spray.
- Prepare the brownie batter following the box or homemade recipe directions. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool brownies completely in the pan.
- Spread or drizzle with colorful frosting or melted candy melts.
- Decorate with candy eyes, sprinkles, and other fun toppings.
- Slice into squares and serve, or wrap individually for a Halloween treat.
Notes
- Add swirls of peanut butter or cream cheese before baking for extra flavor.
- Turn brownies into Monster Pops by cutting into squares, adding sticks, and dipping in melted candy.
- Store undecorated brownies in the freezer for up to 2 months and decorate later.
- Chill slightly before cutting for clean edges.
