- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions or chives, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Arrange in the baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and half of the shredded cheddar until smooth.
- Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and topping is bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for a few minutes before garnishing with green onions or chives. Serve warm.

- Use boneless chicken thighs for extra juiciness.
- Mix in mozzarella or pepper jack for added flavor.
- Add a crunchy topping by sprinkling crushed Ritz crackers before baking.
