Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs thinly sliced beef (such as sirloin or shaved steak)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté sliced peppers and onion until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the thinly sliced beef and cook until browned and fully cooked.
  5. Season with salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in softened cream cheese and heavy cream until creamy and well combined.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  8. Sprinkle shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese over the top.
  9. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
