Ingredients
- 1 wheel of brie cheese (8 oz)
- 2–3 tbsp honey
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts (toasted or raw)
- Optional: fresh rosemary or thyme
- Optional: 1 sheet puff pastry (for wrapping)
- For serving: crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish or oven-safe plate with parchment paper.
- Place the brie wheel in the center. Drizzle honey over the top and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
- Optional: Add a small pinch of fresh rosemary or thyme for aroma.
- Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey inside.
- Let cool for 3–5 minutes before serving with crackers, bread, or fruit.
- Optional puff pastry version: Wrap the brie in a puff pastry sheet, seal edges, and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden. Drizzle honey and nuts on top after baking.
Notes
- Swap walnuts with pecans or mix in a spoonful of fig or apricot jam for variation.
- Add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt or dried cranberries for contrast and color.
- Assemble ahead and bake just before serving for best results.
- Leftovers can be spread on toast or crackers the next day.
