Instructions
- Line a small square pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a medium saucepan, combine orange juice, orange zest, sugar, cornstarch, corn syrup (or honey), and salt.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and becomes smooth and glossy, about 10–15 minutes.
- Optional: Stir in the butter for extra richness and smooth texture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Allow to cool at room temperature or refrigerate for 1–2 hours until fully set.
- Once firm, cut into small squares or shapes.
- Roll each piece in powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
