Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed or shredded
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; stir to combine and remove from heat to cool slightly.
  4. Flatten each biscuit or dough piece into a circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
  5. Place a spoonful of beef mixture and a cube or pinch of cheese in the center of each circle.
  6. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, shaping into a ball.
  7. Place sealed side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush generously over each dough ball.
  9. Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top of each bomb.
  10. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
  11. Optionally, brush with extra garlic butter and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Add jalapeños, or pickles for flavor variations.
  • Use any melty cheese like mozzarella or pepper jack as a substitute.
  • Make ahead by assembling and refrigerating before baking.
  • Seal dough well and bake seam-side down to avoid openings.
  • Freeze baked bombs individually and reheat in the oven from frozen.
