Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed or shredded
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned and fully cooked.
- Add minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; stir to combine and remove from heat to cool slightly.
- Flatten each biscuit or dough piece into a circle using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place a spoonful of beef mixture and a cube or pinch of cheese in the center of each circle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal, shaping into a ball.
- Place sealed side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush generously over each dough ball.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top of each bomb.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling.
- Optionally, brush with extra garlic butter and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Add jalapeños, or pickles for flavor variations.
- Use any melty cheese like mozzarella or pepper jack as a substitute.
- Make ahead by assembling and refrigerating before baking.
- Seal dough well and bake seam-side down to avoid openings.
- Freeze baked bombs individually and reheat in the oven from frozen.
