Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 40–50 slices of pepperoni
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
- Roll out the pizza dough into a thin rectangle and cut into long strips.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce along each strip.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
- Place pepperoni slices slightly overlapping along one edge of each strip.
- Roll up each strip from one end to form a rose shape and place into the muffin tin.
- Brush tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Swap pepperoni for sausage or veggies like mushrooms and bell peppers.
- Use crescent roll dough for a softer texture.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) to keep them crisp.
- Serve with dipping sauces like marinara or garlic butter.
