Ingredients

  • 48 pretzel sticks (6 per web, more if making larger batch)
  • 1 cup white chocolate or milk/dark chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate bars), melted
  • Candy spiders, chocolate spider shapes, or plastic spider toppers (for decoration)
  • Optional: candy eyes, sprinkles, colored sugar, or colored candy melts for extra detail

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  2. Arrange 6 pretzel sticks in a star or asterisk shape to form the web base.
  3. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  4. Transfer melted chocolate to a piping bag or use a spoon to drizzle it in a spiral pattern over the center of the pretzels, connecting them like a spider web.
  5. While chocolate is still soft, place a candy spider in the center or decorate with candy eyes and sprinkles.
  6. Let the webs cool at room temperature or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until fully set.
  7. Carefully lift the spider webs from the paper and serve or package.

Notes

  • Use orange, purple, or green candy melts for colorful Halloween variations.
  • Create “web pops” by making mini webs on lollipop sticks.
  • For homemade spiders, pipe melted chocolate into small spider shapes and let harden before placing.
  • Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 1 week.
  • Avoid high humidity to keep the pretzels crisp.
