Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss sliced steak with soy sauce, cornstarch, and a pinch of pepper. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar. Set aside.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sear steak in batches for 1–2 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the pan. Stir-fry garlic, ginger, and veggies for 3–4 minutes until just tender.
- Return steak to pan. Pour in sauce mixture and stir-fry everything together for 1–2 more minutes until heated through and coated.
- Serve hot over cooked rice, garnished with green onions.
Notes
- Swap steak with chicken, shrimp, or tofu for variation.
- Add chili flakes or sriracha for a spicy kick.
- Use any combination of fresh veggies you like.
