Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns or dinner rolls
  • 2 cups cooked chicken tenders or breaded chicken cutlets (cut to fit buns)
  • 1½ cups marinara sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice buns horizontally, keeping tops and bottoms attached. Place bottom halves in the baking dish.
  3. Add a piece of cooked chicken to each bun. Top with marinara, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  4. Place top buns over the filling.
  5. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush over bun tops.
  6. Bake uncovered for 15–18 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
