Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are a quick, comforting meal made with shredded chicken, creamy chicken soup, and melted mozzarella cheese, all wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough. Perfect for busy nights, this easy recipe is sure to be a family favorite.
5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cooked and shredded)
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 soup can full of milk (use the soup can to measure)
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat and Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the chicken breasts (boil, bake, or pan-fry until fully cooked). Shred using a fork or chop into small pieces.
Make the Chicken Filling:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, and grated mozzarella cheese. Stir until well combined and smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Roll and Bake:
Unroll the crescent rolls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll. Roll up each triangle tightly, pinching the edges to seal.
Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling inside.
Serve:
Remove from the oven and let the rolls cool slightly before serving.
Serve with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
Add Vegetables: Incorporate sautéed spinach, mushrooms, or peas into the chicken mixture for extra flavor and nutrition.
Use Rotisserie Chicken: For a quicker version, use store-bought rotisserie chicken or leftover cooked chicken.
Herbs: Add fresh herbs like parsley, thyme, or basil for added flavor.
