Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions or parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing until smooth.
  3. Fold in the shredded chicken and half the cheddar cheese.
  4. Spread the mixture into a baking dish and top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  6. Optional: Top with crumbled blue cheese and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute ranch with blue cheese dressing for a stronger flavor.
  • For a healthier version, swap half the cream cheese with Greek yogurt.
  • Make ahead: Assemble, refrigerate, and bake when ready (add 5–10 minutes to bake time).
  • Avoid freezing, as the texture may become grainy after thawing.
