Ingredients
- 1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant‑based)
- 1–2 tsp honey or sugar (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for depth of flavor)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
- Fresh blueberries or sprinkles (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the blueberries, vanilla ice cream, and milk in a blender.
- If you like it sweeter, add honey or sugar, and optionally a splash of vanilla extract.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick, add a bit more milk until you reach the desired consistency.
- Pour into a tall glass and top with whipped cream and extra blueberries or sprinkles, if desired.
Notes
- Using frozen blueberries gives the shake a thicker, colder texture — no ice needed.
- Add a banana or some Greek yogurt to make the shake extra creamy or thick.
- For a dairy‑free version, use plant-based milk and dairy‑free ice cream.
- Serve immediately for the best taste and texture; store only briefly in the fridge (up to an hour) if needed, but stir before drinking as separation can occur.
