Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet apples (e.g., Fuji, Gala), cored and chopped
- 2 large oranges, peeled and seeded
- 1/4 cup water (optional, to adjust consistency)
- Ice cubes (optional, for serving)
- Optional: 1/2 tsp grated ginger or a few fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- Wash, core, and chop apples (no need to peel if organic).
- Peel and seed the oranges.
- Add apples and oranges to a blender. Add water if a thinner consistency is desired.
- Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth for a smoother juice, or leave pulp in for more fiber.
- Pour into glasses, add ice if desired, and serve immediately.
- Alternatively, juice the fruits using a juicer for a quicker method.
Notes
- Use sweet apple varieties for a naturally sweet juice.
- Add ginger for a spicy kick or mint for a cooling twist.
- Store in the fridge for up to 2 days; shake before serving.
- Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays for smoothies or later use.
