Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 (1.12 ounce) package taco seasoning (such as Pace)

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed tomato soup (such as Campbell’s)

1 ½ cups water

1 ½ cups uncooked instant white rice

½ cup thick and chunky salsa (such as Pace), or to taste

½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese, or to taste

1 cup shredded lettuce, or to taste

4 cups tortilla chips, or to taste

Instructions

Cook the beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef with taco seasoning over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess fat.

Add the soup and rice: Add the condensed tomato soup, water, and rice to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the flavors have melded together.

Assemble the nachos: Top the beef mixture with salsa, shredded Cheddar cheese, and shredded lettuce.

Serve: Serve the nachos supreme with tortilla chips on the side for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

Extra toppings: Add sour cream, sliced jalapeños, guacamole, or diced tomatoes for more flavor.

Protein swap: Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner alternative.

Vegetarian version: Skip the meat and use black beans, corn, or sautéed veggies for a vegetarian option.
